Liability Waiver
Effective Date: May 1, 2025
Applies To: All individuals and organizations using Green Career Centre’s services
This waiver outlines the limits of liability for using our services, and must be acknowledged by all clients before service delivery begins.
1. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that all funding and hiring-related decisions carry inherent risks, including but not limited to policy shifts, funding rejections, and administrative delays. You agree to accept these risks as part of the service engagement.
2. Limitation of Liability
The Green Career Centre, its team members, and contractors are not liable for:
- Application rejections
- Delays due to third-party platforms or systems
- Organizational changes within your team
- Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by your team
- Emotional, reputational, or financial stress caused by missed deadlines or rejections
3. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Green Career Centre and its representatives from any legal claims, damages, or disputes arising from your participation in our services.
4. Remote & In-Person Interactions
All services are conducted remotely. In the event of an in-person meeting, you accept full responsibility for any accidents, physical harm, or damages. We are not liable for injuries, coffee spills, transit issues, or other incidents.
5. Scams & Impersonation
We are not liable for any financial or reputational damage caused by third parties impersonating the Green Career Centre or its staff. All official communications will come from @greencareer.ca emails.
6. Release of Claims
By agreeing to this waiver, you release the Green Career Centre from any present or future legal claims related to:
- Wage subsidy program outcomes
- Service satisfaction or perceived value
- Missed opportunities due to miscommunication or scheduling conflicts
Emotional, physical, or financial distress tied to any aspect of our services.
